Admittedly, political debates are not about truth or facts, but it might still be interesting to have a look at FactCheck.org‘s summary of the VP debate (widely considered a tie).
There is really not a whole lot to say about the spectacle that is not already said. These debates are not very informative, and mostly about establishing a story, and it appears that both parties are fairly pleased. In the betting markets Obama has continued to rise, although that’s more likely to be due to the financial crisis than anything else. Currently there is a 67.5% chance that he will win.
