Another British MEP, with a rather entertaining speech. This time it’s the Conservative, Daniel Hannan, who’s not Gordon Brown’s biggest fan. You may already have seen it, but if not, here it is:

An interesting thing to ponder: if this speech would have been held ten years ago, a few hundred would have heard it, and not many more would have read about it. With the widespread access to the internet of today, 1.7 million people have watched the YouTube clip. It’s a considerable change.
